ABOUT THE SELLER

I have always had an interest in trucks and those who operate them. I started my career in 1978 in the Parts Department of Ben Cooper Engineering the DAF dealership in Claydon, Suffolk. In 1983, I moved at Scantruck (later Ro-Truck, now Truck East) firstly in Parts, but later in the Service Dept. In 1988 I then moved to the North East, to work as a Service Contracts Specialist at Scania dealership Union Trucks. Whilst at Union Trucks, I fell into Sales by accident when the previous sales man was off work long term through illness. In 1992 I took up the role of Sales Executive for Daf dealership, Marshalls of Cambridge and when the franchise was taken over by Chassis Cab Ltd in 1993, I went with it. I became Sales Manager covering Suffolk, South Norfolk and North Essex. I recently decided to leave Chassis Cab after almost 26 years to set up on my own as Suffolk Truck Sales Ltd. Over the years, I have bought & sold thousands of trucks both new and used. I have a reputation within the industry of being straight talking about a truck's condition and realistic with pricing. I appreciate that if you are buying a truck, it is your livelihood and you need it to be reliable. I strive to give you that.
