Ford & Slater has successfully completed the delivery of five high-spec DAF XD trucks to Wedge Group Galvanizing. These vehicles are numbered 60 – 65 in the Wedge Group Fleet and represent the first New Generation DAF Trucks that Wedge will have taken.

Wedge Group Galvanizing stands as the market leader in hot dip galvanizing industry in the UK. Operating out of 14 plants, the company provides galvanizing services nationwide. The acquisition of the new generation DAF trucks delivered by Ford & Slater plays a pivotal role in enhancing Wedge Group’s fleet.

With a 3 Star DVS rating straight from the factory, these vehicles are tailored to elevate safety standards, featuring enhancements such as the foldable cinema co-driver seat for enhanced comfort during long hauls.
