Isuzu Truck UK has appointed RH Commercial Vehicles as an authorised repairer in Peterborough. The site becomes the fourth of RH Commercial Vehicles’ six dealerships to represent the Japanese brand, joining existing locations in Northampton, Newark and Leicester.

The 10,000 sq ft site features a spacious forecourt and reception area, with four service bays facilitating the repair, maintenance and roller brake testing of commercial vehicles from 3.5 to 44 tonnes. James Daykin, Group Aftermarket Manager for RH Commercial Vehicles, says: “Operating multiple Isuzu Truck locations across the Midlands and the east of England enables us to extend our services to more local and national fleet customers, meaning they benefit from our extensive one-stop-shop offering, utilising our significant Isuzu parts stock to carry out comprehensive repairs and get their vehicles back on the road as quickly as possible.”

RH Commercial Vehicles’ Peterborough site also facilitates a mobile breakdown service.

Daykin continues: “We are delighted to expand our offering to a fourth site, since our first successful partnership with Isuzu Truck opened in 2020. We have a positive working relationship with the team, and we receive excellent manufacturer support. It is our ambition to extend our network coverage across the East Midlands, with the opportunity at Peterborough helping us to achieve and exceed those plans in the coming years.

“The Isuzu truck range has celebrated significant sales growth in recent years, proving incredibly popular thanks to the versatility, manoeuvrability and competitive payload of the range. Customers also love the ownership experience, and the levels of support which come with Isuzu’s unique Customer CARE programme.”

Tim Hicks, Head of Operations and Product at Isuzu Truck UK comments: “RH Commercial Vehicles has built a proven track record for delivering consistently high levels of service to our customers, so expanding the relationship to include Peterborough was the obvious next step. They’ve got a fantastic site, and we’re proud to welcome them into the Isuzu Truck family.”
