Continuing a Longstanding Partnership
LTC Specialist Scaffolding, based in Plymouth, has added a new 7.5-tonne Isuzu N75.190(E) long wheelbase scaffold truck to its fleet. Supplied by local dealer Harry Moore Commercials, the new vehicle extends a partnership with Isuzu that spans over 20 years.
Replacing one of the company’s earliest vehicles—also an Isuzu—the new truck takes its place among LTC’s 60-strong commercial fleet, and has been custom-built for scaffolding operations.
Built for Secure, Practical Operation
Fitted with a bespoke dropside body by Brit-Tipp, the truck incorporates an extra-strength wooden headboard and dedicated sockets to carry up to ten scaffolding poles. Eight heavy-duty D-rings ensure all equipment remains safe and secure during transit.
Fleet Director Rob Wills commented: “We managed to get nearly 20 years of hard graft out of the truck this replaces, so going back to Isuzu was a no-brainer. We’ve stuck with Isuzu over the years because they deliver exactly what we need—reliability, payload capacity, and a compact footprint that suits the often narrow roads we work on.”

Proven Performance for Regional Operations
LTC currently operates 17 Isuzu trucks, including:
- Four 3.5-tonne Grafters
- Ten 7.5-tonne rigids
- Four 11-tonne vehicles
The latest addition is backed by Isuzu’s three-year unlimited mileage warranty, offering 24/7 roadside assistance and dedicated support from the Isuzu Truck UK Customer CARE team.
Tailored Specification from Local Expertise
Wills praised the collaboration with Harry Moore Commercials and Brit-Tipp: “It’s the first time we’ve worked with Harry Moore Commercials and they did a brilliant job. They took the time to understand how we operate and worked with Brit-Tipp to ensure the truck’s spec met every requirement. We’re confident the aftersales support will be just as good.”
