The only right-hand drive example in existence will debut at the popular charity event founded by Chris Evans

Enthusiasts attending the popular Carfest family motoring festival (23 – 25 August 2024) will have the chance to get up close with the only right-hand drive IVECO Daily 4×4 Tigrotto in the world.

Making its UK debut on stand CF14, this IVECO model is based upon the IVECO Daily 4×4 and pays homage to its namesake of the 1950s. Tigrotto – meaning ‘tiger cub’ in Italian – boasts unique two-tone bodywork and red elements that hark back to the original, as does the instantly recognisable badging. Its distinctive contrasting wheels and lightbar create an ‘adventure-ready’ look that’s both stylish and functional.

The interior is also unique with the cab sporting a ‘vintage’ inspired dashboard finished in contrasting shades crowned with a Tigrotto logo.

Just like its forefather, this Tigrotto is equipped with all-wheel drive plus a trio of locking differentials, a 176hp diesel engine, and Hi-Matic automatic gearbox with low-speed ratios to maximise traction on challenging terrain.

Adding to the mechanical capabilities of the drivetrain is an advanced Electronic Stability Programme that helps prevent wheel-slip. A significantly increased ride height combined with excellent approach and departure angles further add to this Daily’s rugged credentials.

This specific 7-tonne Tigrotto (70C18HA8 WX) features a Brit-Tipp Dropside body that takes full advantage of the Daily’s truck-based chassis, something that provides a generous payload of up to 3,275kg, or 3,925kg without body. An integrated toolpod highlights that the Tigrotto promises significant substance to accompany its enhanced style.
