Now six months after launch, figures are coming in for the fuel savings enjoyed by operators with new 2025 model year XF and XG trucks, even when compared to the frugal earlier models. We cover the results Cross Country Carriers have been enjoying in this regards with their 44 tonne operation now returning an impressive 11.7mpg – an improvement of 0.5mpg compared to the earlier models.
In other news, Isuzu have delivered a 13.5 tonne crane truck into a landscaping company that had previously only used 7.5 tonners and Volvo Trucks tease us with some early details of their long distance electric tractor unit that will be rolling off the production lines this time next year with a 6×2 tag configuration.
