This DAF LF180 is a 10 tonne truck but can very easily be down rated to 7.5 tonnes, with a simple notifiable alternation to VOSA. - The reason we supply 10 tonners is to offer greater flexibility to the operator, offering the choice to either operate at 10 tonne or 7.5 tonne, something that a 7.5 chassis from the factory is not capable of. This way, if you have an HGV driver you can increase your payload by 2.5 tonnes immediately, or when you go to resell the asset it would be more valuable as a 10 tonner.
