What a great, specialist little urban tractor unit gracing this week’s Truckpages front cover. A 4×2 DAF LF250 which can be bought as a pair. Six years old and only 221,000kms with Euro 6 rating means that they can enter the clean air zones and do the job they were designed for. There are plenty of Euro 6 trucks advertised in the magazine this week, so no worries about future proofing your next truck purchase against incoming legislation – there is no Euro 7 or even talk of it. The next stop for trucks is hydrogen or batteries!

As the number of photo lineage pages grows, so too does the amount of plant machinery advertised. A great range this week from excavators to wheeled loaders to dozers and forklifts. So too online, there are hundreds of items of plant for sale – and auction listings run to the thousands – all with images all for forthcoming dates.

Truckpages Magazine Issue 59

Iveco Retail are showing the quality of their used Stralis tractor units on page 12. Looking just like new, they could be on the road from just £269 a week including R&M – or a 2016 model for less than £200 a week! (without the R&M).

Let’s not forget the vans – Maple Motor Services specialises in vans that are a little different from your average white panel van, so there are plenty of long-bodied dropsides and tall curtainsiders – mainly Sprinters, but expect to see Transits and other major van brands.

Checking out the auctions, Gavel have an series of online auctions with a tidy-looking Transit recovery van plus a pair of Iveco Daily vans. Two MAN TGM 18 tonne curtainsiders. CVA have a good-looking MAN Grabloader and a series of Renault Range T tractor units going through their 23rd March Sale, whilst Protruck have a plant sale on the same day.
