A tidy looking Volvo FMX tipper, advertised directly by the operator, graces this week’s front cover of issue 61 of Truckpages magazine. It’s the 420hp variant with an auto tailgate and plenty of cameras for urban operation. It won’t be around for long.

The photo lineage pages are showing an increasing amount of yellow metal – the construction industry is particularly busy at present. The are plenty of trucks suited to the construction industry advertised on these pages including a 150 tonne GVW Scania 6×4 tractor unit, a DAF CF75 26 tonner with a crane, two more Volvo tippers and an Iveco hookloader.

On the subject of cameras and direct vision, check out the service offered on page 8 from Truck Door Windows – they can fit passenger door windows to any make or model of truck to aid curb side visibility. If you are operating in urban areas then this could be vital to safe operation.

Staying on the construction theme – Bickfords have a wide range of construction-related trucks including tippers, grabloaders, plant trucks and crane trucks

On page 9, Iveco have a strong offer for leasing a used truck. They have Euro 6 including a three year driveline cover from just £699 a month on hire purchase – where the truck is yours after making the final balloon payment after three years.
