DAF LF55.220 Trucks for Sale (79)

The LF55.220 is the second most common truck model for sale on the Truckpages website.  This excellent choice of trucks means that you should be able to find the LF55 with the right body and the right length. The LF55.220 was discontinued in 2014 and replaced by the ‘LF’ without the ’55’ designation.  This means that over time this truck in the 12 to 21 tonne range will shrink in numbers and the popularity of the Euro 6 LF will increase in the used truck market. The 220 in the model designation represents the horsepower achieved from the 6.7-litre, 6-cylinder PACCAR GR engine. Torque from the engine is 850Nm which is available as low as 1,200rpm. Most examples of the LF55.220 for sale on the Truckpages website will be the Euro 4 or Euro 5 models plus the EEV (Enhanced Environmentally friendly Vehicle) using SCR technology which requires the use of Adblue.

AdBlue consumption is only 3 % of the diesel consumption, or for an LF only 0.5 litre per 100 kilometres. The LF55.220 as available new as a manual or AS-Tronic 6 speed automated automatic gearbox.
