Older Euro 4 and 5 models are still available with no SCR exhaust after treatment, using only EGR. In theory this is a good idea as no Adblue is required. This can cause residue in the engine oil which can lead to crankshaft bearing failure. From 2012 the TGX tractor units were available with SCR and are the ones to buy in the used market.
