8x2 Trucks for Sale (41)
There are always plenty of used 8×2 trucks for sale at Truckpages. These trucks are typically used for moving plant machinery and often are fitted with cranes – the extra axle means that the truck still has an acceptable payload compared to using a 6×2. The most common 8×2 configuration is a rear lift and steer axle with another steering axle behind the cab. This helps with applications like a front-mounted crane, for example. Another option is an 8×2 ‘Tridem’ with three axles at the rear, the drive axle sandwiched between the two steering axles. These are useful for applications that may require a rear-mounted crane. It makes the 8×2 highly manoeuvrable.
