Looking for a chassis cab truck for sale? Not sure what they are? A chassis cab truck is simply a rigid truck that has yet to have a body put on – or more likely in the second hand world – has had the body removed. A chassis cab can be any weight of rigid – from 7.5 tonnes right up to a 32 tonne eight wheeler. You may well ask why dealers sell chassis-cab trucks and who wants to buy them? Usually the bodies are removed either because they are worn out or damaged or because the body is worth more to the operator than the second hand chassis and the body will be fitted to a brand new chassis. Where you see ‘first life’ in a truck advertisement, it means that the body was new when the truck was new and had not already seen service attached to a different truck.
A buyer may be looking for a chassis cab for a similar reason – either the work that they do is so specialist they are going to have to make a body for it – or they already have a body that they have bought separately or removed from an older chassis that they would like to use.

The eDAILY refrigerated vehicles will join Petit Forestier’s extensive rental fleet, advancing its energy transition to electric propulsion. The announcement was made at the IAA 2022 exhibition, the day after eDAILY was officially launched to the public during Iveco’s press conference. Visitors to the exhibition can view on display on the Iveco stand a vehicle…

The half million milestone truck – a 16-tonne GVW DAF LF 210 – was handed over to customer, Minoli, at a special production line ceremony on 2nd December. The DAF LF 210 is the first of four new trucks for Minoli – a leading importer and distributor of Italian porcelain tiles. Two of the vehicles…
