These removal trucks have all been designed with the domestic or office removals in mind.  This means that there is a low loading height – usually through the use of a dropwell at the rear of the truck allowing for easier entry on foot and giving more load space. In addition, the part of the body situated over the cab can be used for additional loading but is often used as crew accommodation as some of the relocations are international and can take many days to arrive.  Upon arrival is will be more than a one-man job to unload, so the driver will need to take his crew along if there are no staff working locally.

Containers are often used to help shipment using airfreight, so to avoid having to handle the furniture multiple times, it is loaded into a container that is put into the specialist removal truck and then removed complete for trans-shipment by air.
