The Iveco Eurocargo has been well designed for crane truck applications – there are lots of this type of configuration in Iveco’s native Italy. On these pages you will find a range of Iveco crane trucks, from the front-mounted 7.5 tonne with dropside or steel tipper body to the 18-tonne rear-mounted Eurocargo fitted with a brick grab. For Iveco crane trucks operating above 18 tonnes GVW then it will have to be an Iveco Stralis crane truck at 26 tonnes and above for an 8×2 or 8×4 with heavy machinery mover cranes. These expensive cranes tend to be installed on more premium truck chassis as the cost of the chassis is relatively small compared to the cost of the crane.
