The DAF CF grab loader is the most common of this type in the UK’s second hand truck market. Also called a tipper grab, the DAF is suited to these local roadbuilding operations. The DAF CF chassis is straightforward for the bodybuilders and the dealer network is strong in helping to manage the multi-stage builds that are required for a complex body that has a clamshell bucket grab loader crane and a tipping body on the rear. The CF tipper grabs will usually be day cabs as the extra length is required to fit both the crane and the tipper onto the chassis. If you are in the market for a used grabloader, then the DAF CF should be the first truck to consider for total life costs – buying, maintaining and residual values.

NEW GRABLOADERS SUPPLIED BY MV COMMERCIAL
Northern Ireland-based EJC Contracts has taken delivery of three new DAF CF450 8×4 32-tonne tipper grabs from MV Commercial, each equipped with Thompsons bodies and Palfinger Epsilon cranes. The new trucks follow an identical order MV Commercial supplied into the business last year and join a mixed commercial fleet of around 150 vehicles, which includes 3.5-tonne vans through to tippers and agricultural units. Pegasus Group has taken delivery of 15 new tipper grabs as part of a major fleet refresh programme, extending its burgeoning relationship with MV Commercial. The 32-tonne DAF CF450 trucks, mounted with Thompson tipper bodies and Palfinger Epsilon M125 grabs, are joined by two new service vans.
