DIRECT VISION STANDARD TRUCKS
The trucks for sale on these pages either hold a rating of direct vision three stars or above, which means that they automatically qualify for a permit to enter London OR they have a suitable DVS kit fitted and the permit applied for.
Please note that a truck that has a kit and approval for the first stage WILL NOT comply for stage 2 from October 2024. Any trucks with zero, one or two star ratings (and there are lots of them) will have to have a new or revised DVS kit fitted and the operator must photograph the vehicle and upload these as part of the application.
ALWAYS check the registration online to see whether the truck you are thinking of buying has a permit or will comply. Click Here for the TfL online checker. Remember, this only applies to trucks over 7.5 tonnes GVW. Lighter trucks are not part of the scheme.
