The DAF CF510 was the top powered model in the DAF CF range prior to the 2017/18 upgrade to the range when it was superseded by the CF530. Powered by the PACCAR MX-13 engine, the CF510 will be used almost always as a tractor unit in the UK, although there are some variants that are available as a drawbar rigid. The choice of cabs was wide at the time of manufacture, including ‘construction’ spec cabs, day cabs, sleeper cabs and even Space Cabs (not the Super space, that was XF only). Available with a range of axle configurations, the most popular CF510 in the UK’s used truck market is the 6×2 tractor unit (Midlft FTG rather than rear lift FTR). Keep an eye peeled for the 6×4 tractor unit which also came in the construction version.
