The LF230 was launched as a replacement to the LF220 in 2018. Using the same 7-litre PX-7 PACCAR engine as its predecessor, DAF were able to squeeze some additional efficiencies from the facelifted version, improving fuel consumption. The LF230 is available right across a wide weight range from 8 tonnes to 18 tonnes GVW, so it is important that you ask about the gross vehicle weight of the truck if it is not included in the advert. All of the LF230 trucks are Euro 6 and therefore suitable for ULEZ operation and are available in day or sleeper cab versions, although the day cab option is the most popular.
