The DAF LF250 model was built for the right hand drive markets from 2014 until the 2017 facelift replaced the model with the increased power and more fuel efficient LF260. Available across a broad weight range from 8 tonnes to 18 tonnes GVW, used examples of the LF250 will usually be at 18 tonnes GVW. Usually configured as a rigid, the LF250 is also available as an urban artic with a 13 tonne gross weight and a train weight of around 25 tonnes. Other power outputs are available for the DAF LF range – consider which is optimum for your application. If power is not vital then you may consider which ones are the most common – giving you a better choice. The LF220 and its replacement the LF230 are typically the most popular choice for this cab at 18 tonnes GVW – unless payload is all-important, then opt for the lighter LF210 with the 5-litre engine.
