DAF LF260 Trucks for Sale (42)
If you are after a high payload, high powered 18 tonne DAF, this is the model for you. With the smaller LF cab (the CF is larger and heavier). Available in this 260hp power output across the weight range from 8 tonnes to 18 tonnes GVW, the Euro 6 LF260 will usually be found as an 18-tonne rigid – but sometimes even as an urban artic with train weights of around 25 tonnes. The LF260 is essentially a facelifted version of the LF250 – superseding the earlier model in 2017/18 with a more efficient driveline giving improved fuel economy. If you are involved in longer distance transport and may have the requirement for nights out – then the CF260 may be the better option – the LF260 thrives best a t more local, high payload intensive operations.

Wickes’ DAF Fleet Upgrade from TIP
There are over 70 new DAF trucks heading to UK home improvement retailer Wickes as the company renews its fleet of trailers and trucks. At the same tip, Wickes have invested in its Truck And Child Safety (TACS) program with a new ‘safety truck’, thanks to supply partner, TIP Group. DAF LF Range’s New Engines and Transmissions
DAF Trucks has introduced a revised range of drivelines for its LF series of trucks. The new PACCAR PX-5 and PX-7 engines in combination with the new automatic 8-speed PowerLine gearboxes result in up to 7% higher fuel efficiency compared to the already very efficient models. There is no mention of the lower-powered 3.8 litre PX-4 engine that is used at power outputs of 156 and 172hp but DAF have introduced a lower powered option in the PX-5 suggesting that the engine range has been rationalised with the lowest output now 170hp. Miniclipper Logistics has taken delivery of two new DAF LF260 18-tonne diesel 4x2 curtainsiders as it continues to re-shape its 70-strong truck and trailer fleet for the future. Ford Fuels tops-up with DAF Trucks
A pair of new DAF LF Tankers have made their way to South-west fuel oil and lubricants supplier, Ford Fuels. The company has been a confirmed DAF buyer for over ten years. Two new 18-tonne DAF LF 260s join 11 further rigids which entered service last year, adding to the majority of DAF vehicles in the 90-strong fleet.
