For truck operators and owner drivers who are not content with having the same truck as everyone else, the Euro 6 XF510 is an upgrade from the 460 variant that is so common on the UK’s roads. At the time it was DAF’s highest output truck, sharing the same MX-13 engine with the XF460, but has a different level of power output to meet an operators needs and ego. The model was discontinued with the 2017-18 facelift and was replaced by the XF530 which became DAF’s top powered truck. In the used market there is a premium to pay for the higher output 510hp version of DAF’s flagship but truck buyers are willing to pay the extra for that 50hp more!
