Scania has been making their famous V8 trucks for decades. Check out the trucks on these pages for all used examples of Scanias for sale in the UK fitted with a V8 engine. The top of the range Scania V8 is the recently launched 770S fitted to the new S Series and is currently the world’s most powerful production truck. This replaced the R730 in 2020. From the end of 2020 the V8 range became available as a R530 R590, R660 and the R770. It won’t be for some while that these become available in the UK’s used truck market in any numbers.
Trucks currently available as Scania V8 are the R500 (certain models) R560 R620 R730. In the main these will be R Series tractor units, but every now and then we get a bonneted T Series V8 for sale. Keep checking back!
