The Historic Commercial Vehicle Society’s “London” to Brighton Run will be back this year on Sunday 12th May 2024. Last year’s event clashed with the Coronation so was cancelled as the King’s event was more important.

There will be a new start in 2024 from Brooklands Museum, Weybridge which will take the event out of the ULEZ and various lorry restrictions in London. Brooklands Museum are excited that we have chosen to use their venue for the start of our event and are assisting us with the arrangements for Saturday afternoon through to the early Sunday morning start.

Visitors will be able to come to the Museum on the Sunday morning to witness the start of the Run – more details will be released nearer the time.

Entry vehicles will travel from Brooklands through Cobham village to Leatherhead and on to Dorking (A24) then on to the A25 to Redhill, joining the usual A23 route to Horley, then following the B2036 through Balcombe, Cuckfield, Burgess Hill and on to Madeira Drive, Brighton for the usual impressive line-up and judging.

Most importantly the Run will be CARBON CAPTURED via the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Club’s (FBHVC) scheme specifically tailored to Heritage Vehicles, demonstrating the HCVS responsibility in the current climate.
