Exeter-based Parsons Nationwide Distribution Ltd has added the first Renault Trucks T520 High 6×2 pusher tractor unit to its fleet, naming the vehicle’s specification and operator recommendation as catalysts for the deal. The T520 High, purchased from Sparks Commercial Services in Exeter, joins Parson’s 59-strong mixed fleet on bulk tipper work across the UK.
The new 13 litre T520 High, with a maximum torque of 2550Nm, is coupled to Renault Trucks’ Optidriver AT2612F gearbox with automated clutch. The highly specified truck, equipped with Walking Floor/Bulk Tip equipment, features a host of optional extras such as front air suspension, Alcoa Dura-Bright aluminium wheels, fixed roof and side deflectors. Further enhancements inside the spacious cab include air conditioning, 40L fridge, heated and ventilated seats, luxury insulated cab curtains and leather steering wheel.
Dale Worsley, Parsons Nationwide Distribution Ltd’s Transport Manager explains why they opted for this particular model: “We’ve had Renault Trucks on the fleet before, but this is the first T High and it’s ideally suited to the work that we do. We had an enthusiastic recommendation from another local haulier, and the vehicle’s reputation, together with the competitive deal on the table reinforced our decision to go with Sparks and the T High.”

The truck’s high specification and spacious living area outshone everything, and we are delighted to add this new vehicle to our fleet.”
The T520 High has been supplied on a Renault Trucks Start and Drive Excellence Contract, the most extensive repair and maintenance contract on offer, with all work carried out at Sparks Commercial Services’ Exeter depot.
