Barnwood Commercials’ 510 horse power XF510 tractor unit features on this week’s front cover. The 2016, Euro 6 truck stands out thanks to its lightweight midlift axle – perfect for high payload operations – especially as it is fitted with tipping gear and 12 speed manual gearbox. Another way to approach the payload question is taken by the 2017 DAF CF460 belonging to Brandrick Trucks and advertised in the photo lineages. This truck has a smaller cab than the XF but still plenty of head height and is fitted with a PTO and wet kit and a standard size midlift axle.
Looking through other auctions, Malcolm Harrison has a series of construction vehicles heading under the hammer on Saturday 22nd April, including concrete mixers, pumps and tippers. There’s even some classic trucks for sale from the 1960s through to the 1980s.
