The 2012 DAF LF55.300 on this week’s front cover certainly won’t win any beauty competitions, but it looks like a good workhorse and is heading for the GPSV sale online which closes on 26th May. Fitted with an Econ UniBody, it is a crossover truck that operates as a spreader in the Winter and a standard 3-way tipper in the Summer. That means it’s ready to go to work now (it starts and drives) and has only covered 68,000kms – a realistic number for a truck of this type. The sale also contains other tippers, sweepers and curtainsiders.
