Old Lorries for Sale

Vintage Trucks for Sale

As trucks had to work had for a living, it is amazing that any have survived at all, but there are plenty kept at the back of barns across the country. As far as cars are concerned, there are plenty more old cars available, and for that reason theremany labels. For example, a classic car is one you might drive from the 80’s or 90’s whilst a veteran is pre WWI, Vintage is before 1930, post vintage is between 1930 and 1945. If you look at the V5 of a car that is older than 40 years old, the taxation class is ‘historic vehicle’ and with this comes certain benefits – no MoT required, ULEZ exempt and no road tax! Although trucks are not automatically a ‘historic vehicle’ at the age of 40, the owner can nonetheless apply here. However, there are plenty of trucks from the mid-to late 1980s and into the 1990s that are considered classic – think the Volvo F88, Scania 141 and, of course, the last of the Scammells and fibreglass ERFs.
