The Mercedes Econic 2630 is the latest 26-tonne low entry cab truck from Mercedes. The 300hp engine is perfect for the operation of the truck and the PTO to power the refuse equipment that is often fitted to this variant of truck. Mercedes have been pushing the Econic 2630 for other uses - as grab loaders, tippers and scaffold trucks for urban use - thanks to the 5 star direct vision rating of the Econic cab. The 2630 model replaced the 290hp version (2629) in 2015 - so you can be sure that if it is a 2630 it is a Euro 6 version and OK for entry into the ULEZ and other similar zones.
