A rare truck in the UK, the range K is Renault’s heavy duty construction range that sits above their standard Range C construction range of trucks. The Range K is meant for trucks that have to carry out more extreme off-road duties and require higher ground clearance as a result. The truck was launched in 2014 at Euro 6 so no older models are available – look for examples of older Kerax models, which the Range K replaced.

Renault Trucks is adding two new modules to their Optifleet fleet management solution – “Health” and “Safety”. These are designed to help keep accidents and unplanned truck downtime to a minimum. Optifleet now features five modules, each of which can be activated independently of the others to suit the needs of each operator. The ‘Check’ module monitors and optimises the fuel consumption of hauliers’ trucks, reducing overall CO2 emissions as a result, and analyses their drivers’ eco-driving performance, monitoring for any changes.
