The Iveco Daily’s truck-based ladder frame chassis is proving ideal for Caerphilly- based iStadia Solutions with three Daily (35C14) mobile HD Digivans now delivered and ready for high-profile events.

Helping a wide range of clients from luxury marques to industry-leading technology brands boost awareness, these vehicles provide mobile or static advertising at major events. Also used to support festivals and sporting events nationally, these Iveco Daily box vans feature a pair of 3.5m x 2m LED HD screens that combine with another 2m x 2m unit at the rear, all fitted in-house. Functioning together they can create mesmerising wrap-around displays that are able to run when stationary or in motion. Each vehicle features a 4G WiFi router, that enables the screens to be updated in real-time.

In addition to the large screens, the Daily box van also houses a three-phase generator, central computer and cooling units to keep the screen running smoothly while on the move – something that proved invaluable when employed recently to spread government advice during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Powering each of these vans is a 140hp 2.3-litre F1A diesel engine complete with 370Nm of torque. Frequently operating in crowded environments where space is at a premium, these Iveco Dailys take full advantage of their turning circle to boost manoeuvrability. An innovative ‘City Mode’ reduces steering weight to make the vehicles even easier to operate at low speeds.

Each Iveco Daily is expected to cover around 30,000 miles a year, often at low speeds, so the new six-speed manual gearbox with 18% more clutch durability is a real asset. Gearbox motion is also more precise with a 50% reduction in play.  Another standard creature comfort is the Hi-Adaptive memory foam seats. The Iveco Daily was the first LCV to introduce a seat cushion, backrest, and headrest in memory foam, something that can reduce pressure peeks by 30%.

Set to be part of the iStadia fleet for the next four years, these Iveco Dailys feature an Iveco Planned Maintenance Contract. Its 2XL Life package for three years, helps a business keep costs predictable and ensure that a vehicle is well-maintained throughout its life.

Speaking about the dealer experience Alex James, iStadia Solutions CEO, said: “Glenside Commercials are very efficient and knowledgeable, even storing the vehicles until they were ready for their deployment. They have provided us with a great service helped by the fact they are close to us in Caerphilly.”

iStadia’s 15-strong fleet already contained three Iveco Dailys with the new trio bringing the total to six vehicles. In fact, the media company is so pleased with the Daily’s performance in 3.5 tonne guise that it intends to order a 7.2-tonne Daily next year. The Iveco’s overall reliability and positive driver feedback has influenced this decision.

Mike Cutts, Iveco’s Light Business Line Director said: “These vehicles are another great example of the many applications the Iveco Daily has thanks to its durable DNA.”
