6x2 Beavertail Trucks for Sale (23)
The 6×2 beavertail truck is the vehicle of choice for plant operators and plant hire businesses, which means that we will always have plenty of examples for sale on these pages. These three-axle rigid trucks have a maximum gross vehicle weight of 26 tonnes unless they are used in combination with a drawbar trailer (which they often are) when the train weight can increase to 40 tonnes. If you are looking for a 6×2 beavertail to use with a trailer make sure that the couplings are installed and working and that the engine is at least a 360hp unit – although ideally a 400+ hp motor is ideal. Depending on your operation, you may find that manual (lighter weight) ramps would be preferable to hydraulic versions. Cheesewedge versions mean that they fold flat onto the load bed effectively turning the beavertail into a flatbed for additional loadspace.
