Used Crew Cab Trucks: – True crew cab trucks are relatively rare, despite this there is usually a good selection for sale at Truckpages. Typically, a truck with a crew cab will be used for recovery work (to get the driver and passengers of a stricken vehicle home as well as their vehicle). Other applications include for local maintenance work – a council tipper may use a crew cab to get a gang of workers to site to save taking two vehicles. We have also seen sleeper cabs converted to crew cabs – particularly for driver training when the next student is brought along for the ride! Fire engines are another, rare application for a crew cab truck where a whole team of firefighters need to go at the same time. Finally there are the municipal applications – typically refuse & recycling trucks. Many of these are listed under the ‘low entry cab‘ type which also often have a crew facility. Note that on Truckpages we list pick up trucks with additional seating behind the driver as a ‘Double Cab‘ to avoid confusion.
