Iveco S-Way Trucks for Sale (1)

Only launched at the end of 2020 in the UK, despite being widely available in left hand drive form on the Continent means that examples of used S-Way trucks are only available from 2021 onwards. The S-Way with its brand new cab replaced the Iveco Stralis as the top truck in Iveco’s portfolio. It has greatly improved all-round visibility and a reinforced ECE R29.03 cab crash compliant structure. Available as a rigid truck and tractor unit, there are a variety of cabs, starting with the AD short, low-roof cab, AT sleeper cab with low or medium-high roof to the largest AS sleeper cab which measures 2.5m wide and has a standing height of 2.15 metres. Compared to the outgoing Stralis,  the new S-Way has improved aerodynamic performance, by up to 4%. The new 5-slat grille along with careful integration of air deflectors, door extensions, flush-fitting headlights and relocation of the parking cooler from the roof to under the front facia are just a handful of features that have contributed to an impressive 12% reduction in drag coefficient. No EGR to worry about as Iveco continue on their SCR only route to achieving Euro 6.

Iveco S-WAY Confirms Green Credentials in Platinum Jubilee Pageant

If you have a large parade in an urban environment, you have to try and make the trucks as low-emitting as possible.  That’s what happened with the Jubilee using Iveco’s bio-methane powered S-Way. Iveco supported the Platinum Jubilee Pageant’s sustainability initiatives in London, in association with specialist event haulier, KB Event. Iveco supplied three of its Iveco S-WAY tractor units, to pull three of the Pageant’s floats, of which two vehicles were CNG-powered (Compressed Natural Gas), which provided a sustainable approach to the event.  The two bio-methane fuelled  Iveco S-WAYs (AS440S46TP natural gas) pulled the ‘70s Northern Soul Trailer and…

Larger CNG tanks for IVECO S-WAY Gas Trucks

Iveco is continuing to invest in their gas power technology by expanding its available fuel tank options on its IVECO S-WAY CNG 4x2 tractors, increasing the total fuel capacity to 1,052-litres, up by 132L. The CNG fuel tanks consist of four cylinders arranged in to a ‘pack’, with one pack sitting on either side of the truck’s chassis.
