The ‘tuck away’ or ‘underslung’ tail lift has been growing in popularity in the UK in recent years. Traditionally we have been a ‘column’ tail lift market, but the benefits of a tail lift that folds away under the chassis out of sight is being appreciated by an increasing number of truck operators. If a truck loads from a loading bay but needs the tail lift to unload , then a tuck away tail lift is the best option, as it will not get damaged when reversing onto the bay and, unlike a column lift, will not have to operated to be moved out of the way to assist loading.
