The DAF CF410 uses DAF’s medium-sized distribution cab and, at this power output, is available as a tractor unitor a rigid. As a tractor unit, the CF410 is a little underpowered by today’s standards, so it will be operating as a 4×2 at under 40 tonnes GVW in more local distribution roles. As a rigid, 410hp is plenty enough to see the CF as an 8×2 or 8×4, although the CF400 and the CF420 are much more common trucks – the CF410 replaced the 400hp version in 2017/18, so expect the numbers of this truck available in the UK’s used truck market to rise. Indeed, the 440 has also been replaced in 2017 by the CF450.
