Atlas is a popular brand of truck crane in the UK and have crane models across most weight ranges. Ideally suited to the ‘Builders Merchant’ type of operation, the company has its own range of brick grabs, grapples and other Atlas attachments that appeal to this market. Based in Bradford in the UK, the small cranes have a lifting capacity from 14 to 73 kNm and are lightweight, straightforward in operation and quick to mount to the truck chassis. The range starts with the Atlas 35.2 with a maximum reach of 5.1 metres and lift of just under one tonne. The largest cranes in the heavy crane range has a maximum reach of 22 metres and SWL of 13.4 tonnes.
