A US-owned Italian manufacture of truck mounted cranes since the 1950s, PM cranes have been imported into the UK by a strong distributor network since around 2000. The range of cranes starts with very small cranes suitable for 3.5 tonne light commercial vehicles. The lightweight PM truck cranes series spans from PM4 to PM15 and can be rear or front mounted on the truck chassis. The medium crane range starts at the PM16 and reaches to the PM40.5 SP. The heavy range can provide lifting capacities up to 71.2 tonne metres and will be used for heavy machinery transport, such as with the PM 85SP series, for example, which is available with up to 8 extensions, giving a maximum horizontal outreach of 20.70m and a maximum vertical outreach of 23.90m.
