Iveco are better known for their lightweight tippers in the UK than as a manufacturer of 8 wheel tippers. There is nothing wrong with the Trakker range of tippers, but UK operators seem to prefer alternative brands. These Iveco Tipper pages tend to be full of Eurocargo tippers – typically around the 7.5 tonne mark, although the Iveco Daily is popular as a tipper lower down the weight range too. It seems that the Eurocargo 75E16 is the truck of choice as far as any Iveco tipper is concerned in the UK market although some canny operators are seeing the benefit of using the Daily range as a tipper – especially the 7-tonne versions which have a small footprint and good payload.
Iveco has extended its Driveaway programme to include the electric Iveco eDaily. This means that operators can buy an electric eDaily dropside, tipper or caged tipper off the shelf today. Taking advantage of the modular battery system of the eDaily and specially selected lightweight Brit-Tipp bodywork, the ‘ready built’ two-battery vehicles provide a minimum one-tonne payload. The 4.25-tonne Iveco eDaily, not only maximises payload availability, but also enables an up to 2.75-tonne towing capacity with a seven-tonne GTW. These vehicles are available now for immediate delivery from all Iveco dealerships at a ‘single invoice’ price and come complete with a…
